I'm a trained  nurse, Health Visitor and teacher and I've worked in a variety of schools and settings -  been a SENDCO, head of a small school for children in care and head of the Virtual School for children in Care in 5 local authorities.

I'm also a Literacy and phonics specialist working with numerous children and adults who have struggled with reading and training hundreds of teachers to teach reading.

I' a freelance trainer regularly delivering training on a range  of topics and author.
